Three of Yokohama’s latest tyres swept the ‘Best New Tyre’ category at a leading industry awards in the US. Hosted each year by SEMA - the Specialty Equipment Market Association - the awards were held during the world’s premier automotive trade event in Las Vegas, 3rd - 6th November.

SEMA’s New Products Awards recognise outstanding achievements across 16 categories and nearly 3,000 automotive products. Each category has one winner and two runners up. 

A Clean Sweep of the Podium

Yokohama thoroughly conquered the competition in the “Best New Tyre” category.

Our extreme all-terrain tyre Geolandar X-AT took the checkered flag, while Geolandar X-CV and Advan Apex were the two runners-up.

The tyres were judged on a wide range of factors, including technical and engineering excellence, craftsmanship, innovation and quality, as well as consumer appeal and marketability. 

The Winner! Best New Tyre: Geolandar X-AT G016
